Thank You Caregivers

 To the wonderful caregivers of Searchlight Senior Services, 

     Your consistent support and commitment to assisting people in need are truly appreciated. The sacrifices you’ve made and the dedication you’ve put forth have not gone unnoticed. It takes a tremendous amount of compassion, courage, integrity, intelligence and strength to care for someone. There are times as a caregiver that you have had to push through exhaustion to be physically and mentally present for a client. There are times as a caregiver that you had to learn a new skill to keep a client safe. There are times as a caregiver that you’ve had to ask tough questions or maybe have uncomfortable conversations in order to both be comfortable. Sometimes through caregiving, you discover abilities that you never thought you were capable of. You’ve created space in your mind and in your heart for the person or people that you’re taking care of. As Robert Callahan always states “you can train a good person to be a caregiver but you can’t train a caregiver to be a good person” The caregivers of Searchlight Senior Services are selfless individuals who make the lives of others better.
